You know what's the BEST part about Fridays?????
FIERCE FRIDAY MAKEUP TUTORIALS!!!
HAHAHAHA
#OkThatWasLame
#Lol
Anyways, these pictures were what inspired me:
And this was what I came up with:
To be honest, I wanted to do something close to what most of the YouTube Beauty Gurus did, but I ended up with something more theatrical instead. #lol #StoryOfMyLife
The eyeliner was inspired by the creepy-looking tree branches that (almost) prevented Prince Phillips from rescuing Princess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty.
I hated those trees when I was a kid. And Maleficent. I hated her too. Why do they have to be so scary looking??! :(( XP
Products used:
Base/Blush:
- Missha Radiance Pore Primer
- Revlon Colorstay Makeup (Warm Golden)*
- MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (NC40)*
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer (NC35)
- MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter (Forecast)
- MAC Select Sheer Loose Powder (NC15)
- theBalm Bahama Mama**
- Kryolan Cake Makeup (Ivory 2)**
- Sasatinnie Dolly Loves Eyeshadow Palette (#3; Black Matte eyeshadow)'
*I'm in the process of getting rid of these two foundations because the Revlon one is too light and the MAC one is too dark for me. Lol.
**I used these to contour and highlight to look more like Maleficent.
'I drew my eyebrows with this and an angled brow brush (after concealing my eyebrows with the concealer and setting it with the loose powder).
Eye:
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk)
- MAC PowerPoint Eye Pencil (Permaplum)
- Urban Decay Electric Palette (Urban)
- MAC Lustre Eyeshadow (Swimming)
- MAC Velvet Eyeshadow (Beauty Marked)
- MAC Fluidline (Blacktrack)
- Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eye Pencil (41 Black Party)
- False Eyelashes*
- Benefit They're Real! Mascara
*Optional
Lips:
- Missha Wrinkle-Free Smoothing Primer
- MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil (High Energy)
- MAC Matte Lipstick (Dangerous)
Tutorial:
(1) Prime eyelids with Milk.
(2) Draw the crease with the eye pencil in Permaplum. Blend the line upwards with a small smudge brush.
(3) Using an flat stiff eyeshadow brush, tap on Urban above the crease; all the way up to the eyebrows.
(4) Using the same brush, lightly apply Beauty Marked on top. Spread both Urban and Beauty Marked onto the inner corners and outer corners of the eyelids.
(5) Using a smaller eyeshadow brush, tap on Swimming onto the rest of the eyelid.
(6) Using a small smudge brush or the tip of an eyeshadow brush, apply and blend Swimming onto the lower waterline.
(7) Line the inner waterline and tightline with the black eye pencil.
(8) Draw the "tree" with an eyeliner brush and the gel eyeliner in Blacktrack - Anything goes. Both eyes don't have to match.
For "blush":
- Lightly apply Swimming with a fluffy brush all over the face.
For lips:
- Prime eyes with the lip primer.
- Draw and fill in the lips with High Energy.
- Apply Dangerous on top.
and THAT'S IT!!!
I wanted to dress up more like Maleficent, but uh, it didn't work as well as I had expected..... #lol
Hope this helps.
Till then.
Ida
