Ok, so I know this doesn't seem "wearable" to some, but I actually like the look.
And plus, if I did something less dramatic, it'll look like this: Wearable Wednesday: Easy Makeup Look for Spring.
So yeahhhh....
These pictures were what inspired me:
Products used:
Base/Blush:
- Missha Radiance Pore Primer
- Revlon Colorstay Makeup (Warm Golden)*
- MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (NC40)*
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer (NC35)
- MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter (Forecast)
- MAC Select Sheer Loose Powder (NC15)**
- MAC Select Sheer Loose Powder (NC30)**
- Missha The Style Smudge Proof Wood Brow (Dark Brown)
- theBalm Bahama Mama'
- theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer'
- theBalm FratBoy Blush/Shadow
*I'm in the process of getting rid of these two foundations because the Revlon one is too light and the MAC one is too dark for me. Lol.
**The loose powder in NC15 is applied on my undereye with a dry makeup sponge (to "cook") while the one in NC30 is applied onto the rest of my face and neck.
'Optional. These were used to contour and highlight my face so I'll look more like Elsa.
Eye:
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk)
- Urban Decay Electric Palette (Urban)
- Urban Decay Electric Palette (Jilted)
- Coastal Scents Double Stacked Palette (last row; 6th eyeshadow: Purple)*
- Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil (#18)
- Coastal Scents Double Stacked Palette (first row; 1st eyeshadow: White)*
- Bourjois Clubbing Contour Waterproof Eyeliner (41 Black Party)
- MAC Fluidline (Blacktrack)
- theBalm Meet Matt(e) Palette (Matt Smith)
- False Eyelashes**
- MAC In Dimension Lash Mascara (Black Extreme)
Lips:
- MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil (In Anticipation)
- NYX Matte Lipstick (Bloody Mary)
Tutorial:
(1) Dot NYX's Milk all over eyelid including the brow bone.
(2) Blend with fingertip or a blending brush.
(3) Using a flat stiff eyeshadow brush, apply Urban on the inner and outer part of the upper eyelid; leaving the middle part empty.
(4) Using the cleaner side of the eyeshadow brush, tap on Purple from Coastal Scents onto the middle eyelid.
(5) Tap on Jilted with a blending brush and apply it slightly above the crease. Blend in windshield wiping motion.
(6) Dab on the silver eye pencil (#18) from Makeup Forever in the middle of the eyelid, the inner corners and 1/3 of the lower waterline. Blend immediately with fingertip or a small smudge brush.
(7) Using a smaller stiff eyeshadow brush, tap on White from Coastal Scents and apply on the areas where the silver eye pencil was drawn and blended.
(8) Wipe the same eyeshadow brush clean and dip the tip of the brush onto Jilted. Apply it on the lower waterline and blend with same brush.
(9) Line the inner waterline and tightline with the black waterproof eye pencil.
(10) Line the upper eyelid using a gel eyeliner brush and Blacktrack (liquid eyeliner or penliner is fine too). To make my eyes appear rounder, I drew a thicker line in the middle of my eyelid.
(11) Highlight the brow bone with Matt Smith, using a fluffy brush.
(12) Apply false eyelashes and mascara.
Lips & Blush:
- I lined and filled in my lips with In Anticipation and dabbed on NYX's Bloody Mary on top.
- For blush, I applied all over my cheekbones and onto the tip of my nose.
and....
DONE!!!!!
This is a dramatic look for some, so perhaps this could be worn during special events or on dates ;) XP
Bonus:
Me trying to do the classic Elsa pose, but uh... failed.... #lol
Hope this helps.
Till then.
